Tidepooling near Santa Monica

- Royal Palms State Beach, San Pedro — Reef shelves below the White Point bluffs with parking right at the water.
- Abalone Cove, Palos Verdes — An ecological reserve with extensive reef flats a short hike below the parking lot; the gate keeps limited midday hours, so check before you go.
